The reason for a revival of socialism is because people no longer have faith and hope within our elitist favouring system that has been failing the majority of citizens especially the youth for years now. Standard of living has collapsed throughout the world whilst those with riches seem to be prospering more than ever.
This can be linked to social media as we have seen has social media can bring massess and masses of people together and unite them to fight for a cause such as black lives matter and other movements.
The elections that have taken place lately such as UK elections have illustrated this increasing dynamic.
