1) What does the article suggest was the main media influence on the 2015 general election?
Firstly, it mentioned a media theory which is called 'Hypodermic theory' which suggests that people are easily swayed by the influencers thoughts and ideologies.
It also stated facts such as 75% of Newspaper that verbalised their political views and agenda were fairly right winged which means more positive media attention towards the right wing parties.
2) What examples are provided of how social media was used during the 2015 election campaign?
This was shown through the more comical representation of Ed Milliband whilst his counterpart, David Cameron received a much more flattering and Masculining Front Cover.
3) Does analysis of the 2015 election suggest that new and digital media has challenged the power of traditional institutions?
Yes, it is highly visible that labour had won the heart of social media however the voting polls showed that the powers of traditional and standard institutions such as Newspapers and Tabloid were more influential and accurate.

It is evident that the influence of social media sites such as twitter and Facebook have politically will increase and have a more impact on the way we vote. I also believe this change will be rapid as we can clearly see the impact from 2017 election compared to the previous one in 2015. This is due to the increase of political propaganda online and this will give more power to the youths of the nation.
