I believe that the new day newspaper failed as although they were trying to tackle and overcome an issue within the industry which is a high lose of customers and their loyalty despite the cultural and traditional value that newspapers hold. However, what it seems to me is that they completely misunderstood that what online formats can give customer is much more advanced and worthy than what a newspaper can provide which means the rapid decline of the industry continues to grow.

4) In your opinion, will the global website strategy be enough to save The Guardian?
I believe the global website strategy can be enough to save The Guardian for at least now as a global audience can bring in a lot more financial stability which a growing concern for the industry. In addition, it makes a lot more online services such as live blogging a lot more easier. Unfortunately, i do not believe this strategy may continue to work in the long term as audience pleasures and wants are surpassing the abilities of the newspaper industry.
