Institutional bias: blog tasks Read 'The Press and the Prime Minister' - an analysis of the media coverage of the 2015 UK general election. You'll need our  Media Magazine archive  - go to MM53 (page 12). 1) What does the article suggest was the main media influence on the 2015 general election? Firstly, it mentioned a media theory which is called 'Hypodermic theory' which suggests that people are easily swayed by the influencers thoughts and ideologies. It also stated facts such as 75% of Newspaper that verbalised their political views and agenda were fairly right winged which means more positive media attention towards the right wing parties. 2) What examples are provided of how social media was used during the 2015 election campaign? This was shown through the more comical representation of Ed Milliband whilst his counterpart, David Cameron received a much more flattering and Masculining Front Cover. 3) Does analysis of the 2015 election suggest that n
